Outside Sales Representative

Job Description:

The primary focus of this role is to work closely with the Sales Manager and the HMC Titan staff to increase profitable sales through establishing new customer accounts while focusing continued growth to the existing customer base beyond our current book of business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
  • Develop key client relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HMC Titan overall capabilities.
  • Review geographical area for potential customers.
  • Interact with customers on existing orders and delivery.
  • Maintain a rigorous follow up process of all activity.
  • Maintain an active database of all contacts. 
  • Produce a weekly report consisting of contact metrics. 
  • Assist customers that call or come in.
  • Work closely with other Outside Sales staff to ensure optimum coverage of accounts. 
  • Aggressively follow up on quotations to drive increased quote-to-order conversion rate. 
  • Exhibit a propensity to learn more about our products, and services.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, College Degree Preferred 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and engage customers. 
  • Fluent in English Strong communication skills with ability to converse at all levels.
  • Excellent phone & computer skills including Microsoft Office products. 3-5 years sales experience 
  • Can-do Attitude 
  • Demonstrates professionalism at all times.


Production Supervisor

OVERVIEW: 

HMC Titan is seeking a qualified and experienced Production Superintendent to oversee the manufacturing operations of our construction pile drive equipment. The Production Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, ensuring the timely and cost-effective manufacturing of high-quality pile drive equipment. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in manufacturing processes, and a commitment to safety and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Management:
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the manufacturing processes for construction pile drive equipment, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and monitor production schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changing priorities and customer demands.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and supervise production staff, including machine operators, assemblers, and technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure that employees perform their duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance or disciplinary issues in a timely and constructive manner.
Quality Assurance:
  • Implement quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that pile drive equipment meets or exceeds industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify product quality and identify any defects or non-conformities, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Work closely with the engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues, improve product design, and enhance manufacturing processes.
Resource Management:
  • Manage production resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and parts for production.
  • Maintain inventory levels, track production costs, and analyze production data to optimize resource utilization and control expenses.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety and environmental responsibility in the workplace, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to eliminate or mitigate risks to employees and the environment.
  • Provide training and support to employees on safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, assembly, and testing.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and solution implementation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing software systems.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Electrical Engineer Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electrical Engineering Technician, or EET, assists the Engineering Department in designing and developing electrical equipment and control systems. In addition, the Electrical Engineering Technicians assists in diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and testing broken or faulty equipment which may include travel to the construction or jobsite.

Skills, Abilities and Key Responsibilities
  • Able to work from limited information, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, or plans that often require interpretation.
  • Understands basic electrical theories and concepts.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, individually or with limited supervision.
  • Knowledge of assembling electrical and electronic systems and prototypes.
  • Inspecting designs for quality control, reporting findings, and provide recommendations.
  • Visit construction sites to diagnose, repair, and service equipment.
  • Find solutions for technical design problems that occur during the construction of electrical systems.
  • Adjust and replace broken electronic components and circuitry.
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Able to multitask and implement effective time management.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be disciplined in following established procedures/processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodations.
Knowledge and Experience
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of CAN (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of CODESYS (Preferred)
